Jumpy the Frog

Walking home from the neighbors house a few weeks ago, Colby stuck his hand in the water meter box in the front yard. I didn't know what he was doing until he pulled out a frog. We checked periodically to see if he was still there and when we found him again Colby named him Jumpy. Knowing he couldn't get out of the water meter Colby and his daddy kept him in a cooler for the night with food and water, then took him to the pond the next day to let him go. He was very sad that he couldn't keep him, but wanted him to go find his family. Colby looks cold, but he is actually in shorts---yes, it was warm enough for shorts that day.

Sleeping Beauty

O.k., so I am going to have to deal with the fact that I can't figure out how to rotate this picture. Anyways, I put her down for a nap the other day and when I went in to check on her this is how she was. I just thought it was so sweet. Have you ever seen cheeks this squishable!!

Colby loves his baby sister!!! He loves to play with her and hold her. She loves to watch him, she will just watch him and smile.
Yeah for the Bumbo!!! We just got this a few days ago and she loves it. She is so ready to sit up, so loves that she can do it by herself in her bumbo.

The one thing she loves other than mom's milk is her hand!! She loves to eat her hand, it's like her own sucky.

Dinner for the Dino

I don't know if he's going to want to eat her for dinner...who knows what's in that diaper!

Oh boy, I'm gonna get that sandwich!!!
She loves her milk (as you can tell by the chub), but just by the way she eyeballs other food she is excited to start solids in another month or so.

Our Afternoon Bowling

So, we took Colby bowling a few weeks ago. It was so funny!! We put the bumpers up, but I think I used them most of all :). He had so much fun and I'm ashamed to say that once we got him the roller to use for the second game he beat me.

Aunt Nicki

Kinsey always found a way to get comfortable and fall asleep on her Aunt Nicki. She loved having someone to snuggle her all day long.

So, Aunt Nicki came to visit and the kids had so much fun. Colby thought it was great that she came to visit him, and of course she came bearing gifts so that made it all the more exciting for him. She was able to meet Kinsey and she loved to snuggle with her. She found a comfortable spot on her and just fell asleep every time. I just loved seeing my sister and getting a little time to visit. Of course we went to some outlets, but I loved just staying up late chatting. I really miss her!!!
